In 2009 NASA launched two sister missions to the Moon: the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter and the Lunar Crater Observation and Sensing Satellite (LCROSS)
In order to celebrate, NASA Goddard and NASA Ames have organized events to observe the appearance of these spacecraft on the Moon
the NASA have planned to organize the event to celebrates the National Observe the Moon Night, however after conversations with global astronomy organization Astronomers Without Borders that the event ought to be worldwide
That day, people are invited to observe the Moon and learn about the Moon and to celebrate our personal and cultural connections to the Moon
NASA will be releasing International Observe the Moon programming from their website, which includes the whole updates from researchers
NASA will provide resources such as Moon maps which include the mountains and Apollo landing sites
Science free resources will assist to find opportunities to capture in all types of science events, projects and programs
