Jupiter is coming its closest to Earth in decades

The gas giant Jupiter is coming the closest to Earth in 59 years and will be visible due to the opposition

It is the opposite trend because, when the sun sets in the west, Jupiter will rise in the east, directly opposite

During the opposition stitutions , planets have been observed at their biggest and brightest

In 1963 Jupiter came closer to Earth than, Because Earth and Jupiter have their own different orbits around the sun

According to NASA Jupiter will be about 367 million miles from Earth, At its farthest, it's 600 million miles away

People can easily see Jupiter in the night time however it is not near the sun and it might be observed any difference in size

Galilean satellites of Jupiter, this term comes from Galileo Galilei, who discovered them more than 400 years ago
